These terms describe use of the free Password.lt website, its browser generator, HTTP API and MCP service.

Using the service
Password.lt provides random password, passphrase and PIN generation. No account is required for the public website. You are responsible for choosing settings that meet the requirements of the service where the generated value will be used.
Your generated values
Save the values you need before leaving or reloading the page. The service is not a password manager or recovery system. Browser history is temporary, and downloads or clipboard copies can remain on your device. API and MCP clients may retain returned values independently.
Estimates and limitations
Strength labels and crack-time estimates describe a model based on generation settings. They cannot predict every attack or promise that a particular account is secure. Clipboard clearing depends on browser capabilities and permissions, and cannot remove operating-system clipboard history.
Acceptable use
Use the service lawfully. Do not disrupt the website, attempt unauthorized access, or evade its rate limits and security controls. Automated use is available through the documented API and MCP interfaces, subject to their limits.
Availability and responsibility
The service may be changed, interrupted or withdrawn. It is provided without a promise of uninterrupted availability or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.
Privacy and changes
The Privacy Policy explains browser storage, technical logs, usage statistics and third-party clients. These terms may be updated when the service changes; the revision date appears on this page. Contact Password.lt using the address below if you have questions.
