Strength
?

Entropy estimates the randomness of generation in bits. Higher is stronger; this is not a guarantee against every attack.—

Customize20 characters · Letters, numbers & symbols

Prevents duplicates within one batch of passwords or passphrases.

Character sets

Leave blank for the default symbols. Enter punctuation only, without spaces. Applies when Symbols is enabled; ambiguity exclusions still apply.

Advanced settings

Each enabled type (lower, upper, number, symbol) must appear at least this many times.

Separate fragments with commas or new lines. Up to 12 fragments of 24 characters each; maximum 10 passwords. Required fragments are case-sensitive; exclusions ignore case. Strength is not estimated when fragments are used.

Settings are remembered on this device. Passwords and fragment inputs are not saved.

How it works

Generate passwords, memorable passphrases or PINs without creating an account.

Generated on your device

Pressing Generate makes no generation API request. Generated values and private fragments stay in your browser.

Cryptographic randomness

Web Crypto provides random values for character selection, word selection and unbiased shuffling.

Passwords, passphrases and PINs

Use custom symbols, English or Lithuanian words, and numeric PINs with leading zeroes.

Bulk generation and export

Create up to 250 values, optionally prevent duplicates, and copy or download the results.

Page loading, static assets and selected wordlists still contact the server. API and MCP generation runs on the server.

    HTTP APIREST

    Automate generation with the server API. Unlike browser generation, API passwords are generated on the server.

    MCP serverStreamable HTTP

    Connect an MCP client using Streamable HTTP to generate passwords and passphrases. No API key is required.

    https://password.lt/mcp
    1. Open your client’s MCP settings and add a remote server.
    2. Enter the URL above, choose Streamable HTTP if requested, and connect without authentication.
    3. Let your client discover generate_password and generate_passphrase, then ask it to generate a value.

    For clients that accept URL-based JSON configuration:

    {
      "mcpServers": {
        "password-lt": {
          "url": "https://password.lt/mcp"
        }
      }
    }

    Example tool arguments

    generate_password
    {
      "count": 1,
      "length": 20,
      "symbols": true,
      "exclude_similar": true
    }
    generate_passphrase
    {
      "count": 1,
      "word_count": 6,
      "word_lang": "en",
      "separator": "-"
    }

    Up to 250 values per call, or 10 passwords when fragment constraints are used. The endpoint allows 60 HTTP requests per IP per minute.

    Your MCP client or its provider may retain generated credentials in conversation history or logs. Use a trusted client.
